Organized by the Youth Office and the National Erasmus+ Office, the event “Culture on the Move: Erasmus+ through Intercultural Networking” was held last night at the Europe House.
Within the introduction of the event, the participants were addressed by Slađana Anđušić, Secretary of the Secretariat for local self-government and cooperation with civil society, and Vanja Drljević, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office, who highlighted the importance of exchange programs and the benefits they can have regarding professional and personal development of young people. Data on the participation and experiences of young people from Montenegro in exchange programs were also presented to the attendees.
A special segment of the event was dedicated to stories and experiences of Montenegrin students and young people who have already participated in the Erasmus+ programs. Telling their inspiring stories, Amela Frljučkić (Music Center of Montenegro), Luka Trbović, Danilo Bulatović (University of Donja Gorica), Milan Raičević (Faculty of Economics, UoM) provided participants with specific examples of how mobility can positively impact their personal development, broaden their horizons, and open doors to new professional opportunities.
It is great that the event was attended by exchange students from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Mexico, who provided valuable input, asked questions to the speakers, and gave their perspectives on life in Montenegro.
