Održan 7. Ministarski sastanak Platforme za Zapadni Balkan

U Briselu je u periodu 25-26. juna održan 7. Ministarski sastanak u okviru Platforme za Zapadni Balkan, čiji je cilj podrška reformskim procesima u oblasti obrazovanja za  zemlje kandidate i potencijalne kandidate za ulazak u EU, kao nastavak inicijative započete 2012. u Danilovgradu.

WB PET sastanci imaju za cilj da identifikuju zajedničke prioritete na nivou Regiona, i mogućnost razrade tih ideja kroz eventualne zajedničke projekte podržane kroz EU fondove. Već drugi put za redom ovaj događaj okuplja osim ministara prosvjete, i ministre nauke, kako bi se uspostavila bliža veza između ove dvije srodne i neodvojive oblasti.

Na događaju je bilo puno diskusije na temu priznavanja, i aktivnostima radne grupe koja se bavi akademskim priznavanjem kvalifikacija, u cilju razvoja modela za automatsko priznavanje kvalifikacija u zemljama Zapadnog Balkana, do ulaska u EU. U ovu incijativu biće aktivno uključen Regionalni savjet za saradnju (Regional Cooperation Council).

Ministar prosvjete dr Damir Šehović predložio je formiranje Regionalne agencije za kvalitet u visokom obrazovanju tokom Ministarskog sastanka Platforme za Zapadni Balkan, koji se održava u Briselu. Ovo tijelo bi se, kako je pojasnio, bavilo kontrolom i obezbjeđenjem kvaliteta u visokom obrazovanju, te akreditacijom visokoškolskih ustanova. Ustanove u regionu tako bi se akreditovale po istim kriterijumima, usaglašenim sa evropskim standardima. Osim toga, predložio je i aktivnosti na uspostavljanju sistema rangiranja ustanova visokog obrazovanja u regionu, što je podržano od strane učesnika.

Crnogorsku Delegaciju predvodio je ministar prosvjete Damir Šehović, a ostale članovi Delegacije su bili: Mubera Kurpejović, generalna direktorica Direktorata za visoko obrazovanje, Irma Nišević, šefica kabineta ministra prosvjete, Marko Vukašinović, načelnik odjeljenja za međunarodnu saradnju Ministarstva prosvjete i Vanja Drljević, direktor Nacionalne Erasmus + kancelarije u Crnoj Gori.
