The seminar was organized by Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (Croatia), The Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes, German Academic Exchange Service and Austrian agency for international mobility and cooperation in education, science and research.
The aim of the Contact seminar was to facilitate partner search for the higher education institutions from the programme countries Austria, Croatia, Germany and Slovenia and the Partner Countries Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.
Representatives of national agencies and higher education institutions from organizers programme countries , representatives of National Erasmus+ offices and higher education institutions from Western Balkans partner countries, as well as representative of DG EAC took participation in the event.
The call for International Credit Mobility closed at noon on 4 March 2015. Each of the 33 Programme-Country National Agencies (NAs) offered opportunities for mobility with Partner Countries grouped into 10 distinct budget envelopes. A detailed analysis of the applications received showed that budget that was available for some of the National agencies (i.e. Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Finland) for credit mobility projects with HEIs from Western Balkans did not fully use.
In that sense DG EAC recommended National agencies who wish to do so, to open a second round of applications for the 2015 call, for any budget envelopes that they consider are sufficiently large. The second round of applications would be announced in mid-June and the common deadline has already been set for 24 September 2015.
