HERE seminar “The Positioning and Distinguishing of Applied Studies in Montenegrin Higher Education Reforms” will be held on December 5th and 6th, 2018 at the University of Montenegro. The seminar is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + programme, through the Technical Assistance Mission instrument.
The aim of the seminar is to encourage discussion on the positioning and distinguishing of Applied Studies in Montenegrin higher education, the benefits of the studies, the needs of the labor market and the competitiveness of graduates, the challenges when it comes to organization of Applied Studies, as well as examples of good practice in the European Union and wider. Prof. Constantinos S. Psomopoulos (T.E.I. Piraeus) and Prof. Volker Gehmlich (Fachhochschule Osnabrück – University of Applied Sciences) will be visiting lecturers at the seminar. Besides visiting lecturers, the heads of the applied study programmes from different units of the University of Montenegro will take part as panelists.
The organizer of the seminar is the national Higher Education Reform Experts team (HERE), with the support of the National Erasmus+ Office.
