Today, the National Erasmus+ Office, in cooperation with the University of Donja Gorica, organized the Central Erasmus+ Information Day in the field of higher education to announce the open Erasmus+ Call for proposals 2025
In the introductory part of the event, Vanja Drljević, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office, and prof. Sandra Tinaj, general manager of the University of Donja Gorica, addressed the attendees. They highlighted the importance of the participation of Montenegrin higher education institutions in this programme, Montenegrin success in previous years, and the program’s contribution to building the capacities of Montenegrin universities, the internationalization process, and the quality of higher education.
The team from the National Erasmus+ Office: Vanja Drljević, Rina Muhaj, and Ljiljana Gogić presented the participation possibilities of Montenegro within Erasmus+ call 2025, the selection results from the previous call, the new program-level budget and that for the Western Balkans, novelties within diverse actions in higher education, and practical guidelines for successfully submitting competitive project proposals.
Successful examples of newly selected Erasmus+ projects from the previous call were presented by prof. Ramo Šendelj, University of Donja Gorica; prof. Tamara Backović, University of Montenegro; and prof. Lejla Zejnilović, University Mediterranean.
Kristina Ljuljđuraj, representative of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation of Montenegro, presented the Eurydice platform for education policies.
The new Erasmus+ call comes with a total budget of almost 5 billion EUR, of which nearly 4 billion EUR allocated to the education sector.
