Erasmus+ information day “Possibilities of the Erasmus+ programme in the field of education in Montenegro” was held today at the premises of the Dormitory of Pupils and Students in Berane (Montenegro). The event was organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.
In the introductory part of the event, the attendees were addressed by Vuko Todorović, president of the Municipality of Berane, Goran Kiković, Director of the Dormitory of Pupils and Students in Berane, Vanja Drljević, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office and Milijana Vukotić Jelušić, State Secretary, Ministry of Education of Montenegro. They talked about the importance of participating in such a programme, which provides exceptional opportunities for establishing international cooperation and improving Montenegrin system of higher and vocational education. On the occasion, Vanja Drljević particularly emphasized the importance of Montenegrin participation in this program, but also emphasized the extraordinary results that Montenegro has achieved so far.
The participation opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme in the field of vocational education and training were presented by Ljiljana Gogić, National Erasmus+ Office, while the participation opportunities in the field of higher education were presented by Rina Muhaj, National Erasmus+ Office.
The impact of Erasmus+ projects on higher education was presented by prof. Radovan Stojanović from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro and Filip Petrović from the Project Office of the University of Montenegro.
The impact of projects on vocational education was presented by Danka Markuš, high school “Vaso Aligrudić”, while pupils of this vocational school, Nađa Rajković and Luka Trbović talked about their experiences of participation.
